Customer Service Executive - EXPORTS
- Devise and execute strategies to streamline export operations and enhance efficiency.
- Oversee and coordinate the export process to ensure timely loading of shipments and compliance with regulations.
- Prepare, review, and manage export documentation such as bookings, DG declarations, invoices, shipping documents, pre-alerts, and cargo status updates.
- Ensure data entry accuracy into the system.
- Collaborate with freight forwarders, carriers, co-loaders, and logistics partners to arrange shipments and negotiate competitive rates.
- Stay informed and up-to-date with international trade laws, regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Address and resolve any issues or delays encountered during the shipment process.
- Analyse market trends, identify potential trade routes, and develop strategies accordingly.
- Work closely with internal teams including sales, customer service, transhipment, and import pricing to ensure seamless export operations.
- Maintain precise records of shipment costs in compliance with established procedures and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to meet ISO standards.
- Adhere to Export Standard Operating procedures (SOPs) while performing assigned duties and responsibilities.
