Job Description:
As the ICT Team Lead, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of our ICT department, ensuring the smooth and efficient performance of all IT systems and infrastructure. You will lead a team of IT professionals, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to achieve departmental goals and objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Leadership and Team Management:
o Lead and manage a team of regional IT professionals
o Provide mentorship, coaching, and professional development opportunities to team members.
• IT Systems Management and Development:
o Ensure the security, integrity, and reliability of all IT systems and infrastructure.
o Oversee the installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of hardware and software systems.
o Implement best practices for IT operations and infrastructure management.
o Act as a citizen developer, leveraging low-code or no-code platforms to develop and maintain solutions and automate workflows.
• Project Management:
o Manage ICT projects and implementations from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and timelines.
• Collaboration and Support:
o Collaborate with other departments to understand their ICT needs and provide tailored solutions and support.
o Act as a liaison between ICT and business stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and alignment of IT initiatives with business objectives.
o Train other departments regarding technology and tools to enhance their productivity and efficiency.
• Policy Development and Compliance:
o Develop, implement, and maintain IT policies, procedures, and documentation to support operational efficiency and regulatory compliance.
• Technology Advancement:
o Stay up-to-date with advancements in technology and industry trends through continuous learning
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in a similar ICT system administration and leadership role.
• Strong technical skills in IT infrastructure, systems administration and networking
• Experience with Microsoft 365 (M365), Azure, and AWS cloud services.
• Proficiency with Business Systems such as Microsoft Power Platform, Dynamics 365 (D365) CRM, and D365 Business Central.
• Fundamental knowledge of cybersecurity practices and principles.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• A nurturing attitude with a proven ability to provide guidance, mentorship, and support to a diverse team.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, manage projects, and work effectively under pressure.
• Strong problem-solving aptitude with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
• Relevant certifications in M365, D365, Azure, are a plus.
