Role:
The incumbent is required to perform day-to-day operations of the Accounts Receivable function in accordance with the organization's accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
He/she is required to perform bank reconciliations, receipting of incoming funds, handling of refunds to customers as well as prepare schedules for month-end and year end closing and provide financial data for management reporting.
He/she will also be involved in systems’ enhancement and any other ad hoc duties as and when assigned by the supervisor.
Job Requirements:
- Areas of study in Accounting/ Business/ Finance
- Proficient in MS Office, especially MS Excel.
- Preferably knowledge of Workday system
- Meticulous, good communication and interpersonal skills
- Proactive, good team player, willing to take up challenges and able to work under pressure to meet tight reporting deadlines
- IT savvy
Working Hours: Mon to Thurs - 8.30am to 6pm / Fri - 8.30am to 5.30pm
Salary: $2,300 to $4,000
Location: Botanic Gardens
Start Date: October 2024 (9 months contract with staff benefits)
