Summary
This role will oversee comprehensive vendor management responsibilities, encompassing vendor contracting and cost control, performance monitoring (such as tracking KPIs and SLAs), compliance with regulatory and legal standards, risk management (including due diligence), and fostering continuous improvement.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee IT vendor management, including identifying and managing risks associated with IT vendors.
- Handle contracting processes and cost management, ensuring vendor agreements are aligned with company’s priorities, budget constraints, and regulatory standards.
- Monitor and analyze vendor performance against established KPIs and SLAs, ensuring adherence to performance standards, and lead periodic reviews and improvements.
- Ensure vendor activities comply with regulatory and legal requirements by conducting regular audits and risk assessments.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives in vendor management processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Perform comprehensive due diligence on potential vendors to verify they meet Company’s criteria for reliability, security, and compliance.
- Prepare and present detailed reports on vendor performance, risks, and compliance to senior management and other key stakeholders.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure vendor management practices align with business objectives and requirements.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- At least 7 years of experience in IT vendor management, procurement, or a similar field.
- Demonstrated expertise in managing vendor relationships within the payments industry, including performance management and dispute resolution.
- Deep understanding of regulatory and legal requirements pertinent to IT vendor management.
- Strong risk management skills, with a focus on rigorous execution and adherence to best practices
- Excellent analytical abilities for assessing vendor performance, tracking KPIs, and developing actionable improvement plans.
