Responsibilities:
-To ensure that all Operations personnel perform thier tasks adequately
-To handle import,export and off landed spares
-To maintain a list of all the spares that are being stored as well as conduct regular checks to ensure that they remain in acceptable condition.
-To co-ordinate with appointed forwarder for clearance of cargo
-To coordinate with Operations Manager on the ETA of vessel and the delivery time
-To ensure that all staff in the department are familiar with the company's quality and environmental policy and objectives.
- To ensure that all stores are delivered on time, with the correct quantity and quality as specified by the vessel
- To ensure the involvement of staff within/inter department to contribute to the continual improvement of the Quality and Environmental Management System
- To monitor the effects from the continual improvement within/inter departments are beneficial to the enhancement of customer's satisfaction and protect the environment including prevention of plollution, and to take necessary actions if effects aree unsatisfactory.
- Ensuring that the processes are delivering their intended outputs
- Reporting on the performance of the quality and environmental management system and opportunities for improvement in particular to top management
- Ensuring the promotion of customer focus throughout the organization
- Ensuring that the integrity of the quality and environmental management system is maintained when changes are planned and implemented.
- Ensuring customer and applicble statutory and regulatory requirements are determind, understood and consistently met
- Ensuring that the risks and opportunities that can affect confirnity of products and services and the ability to enhance customer satisfaction are determind are addressed.
- Ensuring the focus on enhancing customer satisfaction is maintained
