Responsibilities:
- Design, coordinate, and manage AWS infrastructure.
- Automate deployments and manage infrastructure using code.
- Troubleshoot and provide support for container technologies (EKS, ECS, ECR).
- Oversee capacity management, and set up and maintain monitoring and alerting systems.
- Demonstrate expertise in implementing, managing, and troubleshooting AWS and container technologies.
- Proficient with operating systems including AWS Linux, Red Hat Enterprise Linux, and Microsoft Windows.
- Maintain, monitor, and resolve issues within cloud infrastructure.
- Collaborate with technical leads/managers to ensure support is delivered within agreed SLAs (24x7).
- On-board new cloud technologies and critically evaluate existing implementations in a professional and constructive manner.
- Adhere to ITSM/ITIL methodologies for daily IT infrastructure operations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience in AWS operations and support.
- AWS Certification in Solution Architect Associate or SysOps Administrator Associate required.
- AWS Certification in Solution Architect Professional and Advanced Networking Specialty is a plus.
- Experience in infrastructure engineering and automation.
- Strong understanding of computer networking concepts, including network zoning, routing, resiliency, load balancing, firewalls, and VPNs.
- Familiarity with AWS RDS, application technology stacks, and containerization.
