Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Accountant to manage our day-to-day accounts receivable and general ledger functions, including month-end closing and reporting.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day accounts receivable and general ledger activities, ensuring timely month-end closing and accurate reporting.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports and draft financial statements and related reports.
- Collaborate with departments to streamline general ledger and accounts receivable functions, enhancing overall efficiency.
- Coordinate with the HR team for the timely and accurate submission of payroll reporting.
- Liaise with the sales team to ensure timely and accurate revenue recognition.
- Advise sales on revenue recognition methods in accordance with FRS 115 and address related accounts receivable queries.
- Serve as a point of contact for internal and external auditors.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of relevant working experience.
- Familiarity with Singapore FRS and the Companies Act.
- Experience in payroll or tax is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
