Contract Period: 1 January 2025 to 31 December 2025
Objective:
The Contractor shall provide one competent General Operations Assistant to support various functions as outlined in Appendix A.
Working Hours:
Shift 1:
- Monday to Thursday: 6:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
- Friday: 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Shift 2:
- Monday to Thursday: 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
- Friday: 10:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Working hours are inclusive of a 30-minute lunch break. The contractor may propose remuneration for work on Saturdays, Sundays, or gazetted public holidays.
Job Description:
Student Matters:
- Assist students in times of need, such as locating lost items, changing uniforms, cleaning students who are unwell, or locating teachers/classrooms/parents.
- Collect items from classrooms after school as needed.
- Escort students for medical treatment when required.
Operations:
- Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of the General Office, classrooms, and special rooms.
- Disinfect rooms as needed.
- Assist in logistics, including preparing rooms for school events and functions, and moving furniture.
- Deliver and distribute external materials to classrooms.
- Disinfect furniture and equipment during emergencies or pandemics.
- Comply with cleaning schedules and standards set by the school.
- Escort contractors when necessary.
- Perform gate duties during school arrival and dismissal times, and during periods of heavy traffic.
General Administration:
- Dispatch mails, information, and students’ items.
- Assist in packing items for the school.
- Perform any other duties assigned by School Leaders, Operations Managers (OMs), or Assistant Managers (AM).
Qualifications and Experience:
- At least 2 years of experience working in a primary school environment.
- Proficient in managing student-related issues, operations, and general administration tasks.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple responsibilities.
