Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain accurate financial records, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and payroll.
- Prepare financial statements, reports, and budgets in compliance with accounting standards.
- Conduct regular reconciliations of bank statements, invoices, and accounts to ensure accuracy.
- Assist in the preparation of tax filings and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost savings.
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
- Liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, and other financial professionals as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a General Accountant, preferably with experience in the trading industry.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and tax regulations.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar).
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
