Description of Key Job Duties:
• To assist in full range of tax services in compliance with laws and regulations within the APAC region
• To support and provide innovative tax strategies for the countries where the company operates and to assist in the reviewing of complex income tax returns
• To assist in identifying and mitigating potential tax risks
• Assist in managing tax provision and tax compliance process
• Proactively manage the relationships with local authorities and agencies, including local tax incentives.
• Liaison with Group Transfer Pricing team to ensure local requirements and obligations are fully met.
Skills Requirement:
• Degree holder in an accounting or business discipline. Professional tax qualification is highly preferred (CPA, ACCA, CIMA, etc.)
• Minimum 8 to 10 years of tax experience working as a tax professional within industry or commerce (in house corporate tax experience + tax firm experience is preferred)
• Strong knowledge of tax accounting, tax compliance and all types of tax returns (preferably in the Manufacturing space)
• Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills
• Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills, in order to liaise with the regional and group level teams
• Should be proactive and be able to work under pressure to meet deadlines with ability to multi-task
