Job Description
Order Management is a combination of Ocean Export Shipment processing with Upstream monitoring of shipping orders before cargo is ready for booking.Handle day-to-day shipment and documentation co-ordination and processing of customer’s international shipment bookings, out of Singapore to other countries.A typical day in Order Management would involve accepting new shipment bookings via email, generating the booking in the Export systems, securing space with Ocean carriers, and arranging collection and transportation of the shipment to port. The Agent will also be trained to become a license permit declarant, to perform export declaration to Singapore Customs.The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys working in a structured, team environment, and
following established SOPs, while also being able to independently manage his/her own time and priorities among different tasks.We are an open, dynamic team and encourage new ideas, participation in improvement projects and regular team hurdles. New joiners will start through progressive training and supported on each task until ready.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
Ensure accurate and timely actions & follow up according to Company process flow / SOP / KPI standards for all matters:
Interact with shippers to arrange their international shipments.
• Shipment bookings and status/event code updates into our operating system.
• Work with service providers (Shipping lines, trucking companies, CFS and other involved parties).
• Perform export permit declaration, AMS and ISF filing.
• Perform billing to customers and manage payment to service providers.
• Take up additional tasks as required to meet the Department’s needs
Qualifications
Qualifications, Experience and Education Requirements
Tertiary education with 1 year working experience. Fresh graduates are also welcomed

- Ocean Export experience a plus
- Understanding of shipping documentation a plus.
- Understanding of international freight process a plus
- Pro-active, team player, and strong organizational skills.
- Good computer skills (Excel, Word, Outlook) and problem-solving skills.
- Fluent in English
