Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee IT projects.
- Manage third-party vendors to ensure services and support adhere to the service level agreement.
- Assist with procurement and keep inventory records updated.
- Analyze, design, develop, test, document, and maintain IT systems or applications to meet business requirements using SQL scripts and other software tools.
- Ensure the precision of analysis tools and reports provided to management for informed decision-making.
- Facilitate the implementation of new frontend or backend systems, IT-related projects, resource management, and vendor collaboration.
- Maintain effective communication links between various offices and stores, and manage an efficient fault reporting system.
- Ensure system security and data integrity.
- Ensure all system-related transactions are completed before the month-end process.
- Support and assist in handling change requests and enhancing applications within the ERP system.
- Undertake ad-hoc IT projects as necessary.
Requirements
- Degree or Diploma in Computer Science or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in technical support for ERP systems and related technologies.
- Experience in server backup and maintenance.
- In-depth knowledge of Microsoft D365 modules is crucial.
- Proficiency with Windows Servers, Microsoft Office (including Outlook), Active Directory, UNIX, routers, and network switches.
- Experience with hardware support and general desktop applications.
- Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft SQL Server 2008/2014, including writing scripts, stored procedures, SQL setup, Navision systems, and firewall management.
- Working knowledge of web technologies and programming in Java and VBA.
