Job Summary
The Associate Director/Senior Broker (Facultative) is a key contributor to the company’s growth and profitability. This role involves managing and expanding a portfolio of large facultative reinsurance accounts, providing technical expertise, and building strong client relationships. The successful candidate will possess a deep understanding of the reinsurance market, particularly in Southeast Asia, and a proven track record in the industry.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, proactively seeking opportunities to expand business.
- Acquire new clients through active market development and networking.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to team members.
- Conduct in-depth client research and analysis to develop optimal reinsurance solutions.
- Manage day-to-day account management tasks, ensuring client satisfaction and compliance.
- Identify and address account concerns or issues in a timely and effective manner.
- Collect and analyze client feedback to inform strategic improvements.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and market developments.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., business, finance, insurance).
- At least 5 - 8 years of experience in reinsurance broking or underwriting.
- Strong understanding of the international reinsurance market, with a focus on Southeast Asia.
- Proven track record of managing large facultative reinsurance accounts.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
