The incumbent shall ensure the Company functions in a legal and ethical manner while meeting its business goals. He or she shall be responsible for carrying out internal audit and risk management programs, execution of company policies, and advising management on possible compliance risks.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute internal audit activities such as operational compliance audits
- Review integrity of operational data and compliance with established policies and procedures and/or applicable laws and regulations
- Identify internal control weaknesses, operational issues and business inefficiencies
- Recommend appropriate solutions that can address root causes and add-value to the Company based on best practices; follow-up on corrective actions
- Prepare clear and concise reports in English for all level of key stakeholders including senior management
- Prepare audit work papers to support audit test work and conclusions
- Establish strong working relationships with key stakeholders
- Conduct special audits or ad-hoc projects as and when required
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, Business or equivalent (e.g. ACCA or CA)
- Other professional certification (CIA/CISA or CFE) would be advantageous
- Minimum 3 years of experience in internal audit, risk, compliance and governance role
- Exposure to regulatory requirement (financial reporting, tax, human resources, EHS) would be advantageous
- A strong team player with an analytical/inquiring mind
- Independent, self-driven and pro-active attitude
- Willing to travel overseas to conduct audits or related activities (if required)
