Job Description:
- Maintain and prepare comprehensive financial and management accounts, ensuring timely and accurate monthly closings and consolidations.
- Oversee all accounting transactions, including payments, receipts, and reimbursements, and handle the preparation and submission of quarterly GST/WHT returns.
- Ensure adherence to statutory standards, and manage relationships with external auditors and tax agents to meet audit requirements.
- Possess knowledge of the oil, petrochemical, and oil derivatives sectors, including familiarity with Incoterms, MTM, LC processes, and discounting.
- Provide recommendations for improving accounting processes, support budgeting and forecasting efforts, and manage secure document archiving.
Job Requirements:
- Degree in Accountancy with 3-5 years of experience in accounting and finance management, particularly in commodity finance and trading.
- Experience with ACCPAC and Xero accounting systems is preferred.
- Expertise in the oil trading industry is advantageous.
- Strong leadership, communication, and motivational abilities.
- Willingness to take on ad-hoc duties as needed by management.
