Responsibilities
- Work with all Site IT Leads to:
- Oversee the daily operations of the IT department at sites and ensure that systems and networks are running smoothly (he/she will be supported by Corporate System and Network Infrastructure team).
- Oversee data backup and system security operations (he/she will be supported by Corporate System and Network Infrastructure team).
- Manage installations, upgrades and configurations of hardware and software at sites (excluding Singapore).
- Developing and implementing policies, procedures, and processes to improve IT operations and increase efficiency and productivity.
- Leading a team of IT professionals and providing guidance and support to ensure that they are meeting their goals and objectives.
- Maintaining a strong understanding of the organization's business needs and working closely with other departments to ensure that IT is aligned with those needs.
- Ensuring that the organization's IT policies and procedures are up to date and compliant with industry standards and company regulations.
- Assess system performance and recommend improvements
- Resolve issues escalated by technicians and engineers
- Managing the IT budget and ensuring that expenses are in line with the organization's financial goals
- Keeping up to date with the latest industry trends and developments in IT operations management.
- Assess system performance and recommend improvements
- Provide support and guidance to stakeholders via help desk
- Manage contracts with vendors (e.g. development platforms, telecommunication companies, password managers) and software licenses
- Be responsible for device and password management
- Ensure data is handled, transferred or processed according to legal and company guidelines
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Experiences
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology Computer Science or equivalent
- Minimum 8 years of experience in IT service management with a board understanding of IT Operations. Experience with ITIL is advantageous.
- Passionate about Service Management, with user experience top of mind
- Good working experience in enterprise IT Setup, including budget control and multi-vendor management.
- Experience in Project Management, end-user, and IT operational support
- Experienced in managing incident and problem management, including but not limited to third-party vendor management, data center solutions
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to multi-task and work independently
- Pro-active, great team player
