Oracle Cloud Infrastructure is seeking a Senior Manager of Data Center Engineering Operations, reporting to the leader of DC Engineering Operations. As our Senior Manager, you would have management responsibility for our team of Data Center regional engineers supporting the JAPAC region. You'll oversee key engineering DC builds and support site engineering reviews for our DRCC products. You will lead a team of electrical and mechanical engineers to drive the evolution of OCI's facility infrastructure design and support our rapid growth. A crucial part of this role will be focused on driving improvement and efficiency in our engineering support model.

Responsibilities
- Lead a team supporting the Whitespace fit out of data centers for Oracle Cloud.
- Work with other engineering managers in cross functional efforts across the Oracle Data Center Engineering organization.
- Develop and lead updates to the design requirements, product evaluation and support optimal facility utilization.
- Provide mission critical engineering reviews in conjunction with our colo partners, PM and Operations teams to support continued growth and efficiency of our DC spaces.
- Provide and review detailed workflows for change management activities.
- Provide and analyze energy efficient solutions to minimize losses.
- Travel to data center sites for building evaluations, and pre-handover engineering review, as required (15% - 25% travel).
- Respond on an as-needed basis to data center build related emergencies.
- Conduct weekly meetings with direct reports to provide feedback and assist in addressing concerns and removing roadblocks.
- Help develop and guide career path plans for direct reports.
