Responsibilities:
- Financial Reporting & Month-End Closing: Update monthly financial trackers, reporting decks, and ensure timely, accurate completion of month/year-end close activities, including central cost allocation and revenue/expense accruals.
- Manpower & Cost Allocation: Adjust manpower and allocate central costs to products/programs on a quarterly/half-yearly basis.
- Budget Management: Collaborate with project teams for purchase order retagging/closure, fixed asset management, and budget virements across projects and cost centers.
- Grants & Compliance: Prepare grant recovery templates and ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and government regulations.
- Process Improvement: Participate in system enhancements and process improvements, including User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure accuracy.
- Ad Hoc Projects: Undertake additional projects, analysis, and other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Educational and Professional Background: Degree in Accountancy/ACCA or relevant qualification with at least 3 years of experience
- Presentation and Communication: Excellent presentation and storytelling skills to effectively communicate business narratives and influence stakeholders.
- Interpersonal and Problem-Solving Skills: Strong ability to build relationships, manage stakeholders, and communicate across all levels; proficient in problem-solving and creative thinking.
- Work Ethic and Adaptability: Positive attitude, meticulous, capable of handling large data sets, and comfortable with hands-on tasks in a fast-paced, changing environment.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Workday, dashboarding tools, Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, Tableau); programming knowledge is an advantage.
