Job Description
- Take charge of the factory matters.
- Supervising and performing all types of carpentry work.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Estimate, negotiate and agree budgets and timelines with clients and managers.
- Organize inspection and routine maintenance of production equipment.
- Understanding of construction drawings, placing orders of materials.
- Maintains quality service by establishing organization standards.
- Maintains a safe and clean work environment by instructing and guiding personnel on the proper use of control points, equipment, and resources.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Responsible for obtaining/ renewing the licenses/ permits for the factory.
- Manage and monitor all on-site matters and assist in technical issues when arises
- Lead a group of workers by assigning them job and duty, checking/supervising their works.
- Plans and develops work schedules, equipment usage schedules, priority of carpentry expenditures, and procedures for equipment maintenance.
- Any other adhoc duties when required.
Job Requirement
- Degree or Diploma in Production/ carpentry or equivalent with at least 5 years’ experience in similar capacity, of which minimum 5 years were spent in a managerial position.
- Working knowledge in quality control, production process, production planning and production material control.
- Mature, good interpersonal skill and management leadership is essential.
- Experience in carpentry field will be advantage.
