Job description:
- Chart the strategic direction and overall management of the preschool
- Provide a safe warm and inviting learning environment and the best possible care for the children
- Oversee curriculum planning and professional matters
- Supervise the staff in excellent delivery of a meaningful, engaging and sound curriculum
- Oversee centre’s day-to-day operations and administrative matters including HR, accounts, public relations & communications
- Keep abreast of the latest educational development and work closely with authorities on impact and implementation of changes, and for training and development of staff
- Plan, organise and deliver projects assigned by the Management
Key requirements:
- Degree in Early Childhood Care and Education or Degree in any discipline, with Diploma in Early Childhood Care and Education-Leadership (DECCE-L) – those willing to do the DECCE-L will also be considered
- At least 5 years of teaching experience, preferably in preschool.
- Truly passionate, dynamic, and dedicated to making a difference in children’s lives
- Good independent and team player with strong decision-making, time management, people management and communication skills. Embodies excellence, integrity and love.
- A good level of computer literacy (eg MS Office)
- Knowledge of financial and basic book-keeping skills, invoicing etc.
- Able to speak fluently in English and preferably in another local mother-tongue.
