Job Responsibilities:
• Full Set Accounting: Handle the full spectrum of financial accounting work, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets, and payroll. Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes.
• Financial Reporting and Compliance: Prepare financial statements and reports, ensuring they comply with accounting standards and regulatory requirements. Assist in the preparation of tax returns and statutory filings.
• Audit Support: Facilitate both internal and external auditing processes by providing necessary documentation and explanations. Manage audit queries and improve reporting processes based on audit feedback.
• Budgeting and Forecasting: Participate in budget preparation and financial forecasting. Analyze budget variances and provide management with reports on financial performance.
• Reconciliations: Perform bank reconciliations and reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.
• Financial Analysis: Conduct detailed analyses of financial data to identify trends, resolve discrepancies, and recommend improvements to financial processes and controls.
• Tax Compliance: Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal tax requirements. Assist with tax planning and compliance checks.
• Process Improvement: Continuously seek and implement ways to improve financial processes and controls to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial reporting.
