- Responsible for ensuring all testing activities are carried out in a safe and productive manner.
- Assures compliance to in-house and/ or external specifications and standards, such as GMPs, Class A and ISO regulations.
- May be required to do GMP/ GLP training.
- Assists in trouble-shooting and determining root cause for quality issues on production floor.
- Alerts engineering and operations to conditions that may adversely impact the customer experience.
- Responsible for audits, incoming quality assurance, and feedback and reporting.
- Provide testing, result reviewing, equipment calibration and maintenance as well as analytical services to Plant Operations to ensure seamless and smooth process operations.
- All operations in the Analytical Laboratory are carried out in a safe and productive manner, adhering to GMP/ GLP and ISO/ IEC 17025 standards at all times.
- Develops and applies basic procedural knowledge of work area.
- Develops a working knowledge of how own activities integrate with the work of the team.
- Assignments are routine and recurring in nature.
- Assignments require limited judgment with little to no decision-making.
- Receives close supervision or is guided by detailed instructions for all work.
- Organizes and completes tasks according to assigned priorities.
- Demonstrates an awareness of the relative urgency of tasks and responds accordingly.
- Exchanges and verifies job related information to provide basic support.
- Minimum 1 year experience in chemistry laboratory testing environment, equivalent combination of education and work experience. Fresh graduates experience in academic laboratory environment is also acceptable.
- Basic knowledge in laboratory instrumentation, such as HPLC, UV, ICP, etc.
- Practical experience in working in a fast-pace laboratory environment with tight datelines and able to solve problems in a speedy and methodical manner with good follow-up on action item.
Education:
Diploma in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Food Technology.
