Location: Riverside Secondary School, 3 Woodlands Street 81, Singapore 738524
Contract Period: 4th November 2024 – 3rd November 2025 (with an option to extend until 3rd July 2026)
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM (inclusive of a 30-minute lunch break)
Objective:
The AV cum IT Executive will support the ICT, AV, and student training needs at Riverside Secondary School by providing technical assistance, managing ICT equipment, and conducting training sessions for students on digital media production and productivity tools.
Key Responsibilities:
- Technical Assistance:Assist students in using their Personal Learning Devices (Apple iPads).
Manage devices via Apple School Manager.
Monitor and manage iPad settings through the Device Management Application.
Provide technical support, including logging service requests with the provider.
- Media Production:Assist in media production for school events and external activities.
Handle photo-taking and video-taking using school-owned equipment.
Create videos and photo-montages using iMovie, Photoshop, or equivalent software.
Set up and manage equipment for live-streaming or online broadcasts/meetings.
- Student Training:Conduct lessons on media production and digital productivity.
Teach skills in using digital cameras, videography, and production stages.
Train students on using Google Suite, Microsoft Office, Canva, and other digital literacy tools.
- ICT Support:Work with the ICT Technical Team to prepare and troubleshoot ICT equipment in various school facilities.
Manage and track ICT/AV equipment and resources, maintaining up-to-date documentation.
- MOE Initiatives:Assist in MOE-initiated rollouts and projects as required.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Diploma in Information Technology, Computing, Media Production, or relevant certification.
- At least one year of experience managing ICT systems, equipment, and media production, preferably in a school environment.
- Proficient in managing iOS devices using Apple School Manager and Device Management Applications.
- Skilled in photo-taking, videography, and using DSLR cameras and standalone camcorders.
- Experience with Adobe Premier Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, and other image & video editing tools.
- Knowledge of broadcasting software such as Zoom, Google Meet, and Microsoft Teams.
- Strong interpersonal, communication skills, and a team player with a high level of initiative.
- Ability to work independently on multiple projects simultaneously.
- MOE-registered coach/instructor, maintaining registration throughout the contract period.
