1. Data entry of daily transactions (eg. Invoices, payments, receipts, etc)

2. Preparation of adjustments and journal entries when needed

Preparation monthly bank reconciliation reports

3. Preparation of full set of accounts.

Requirements:

Min. Diploma in Accountancy/Finance or equivalent

At least 3 years working experience in a similar role

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Powerpoint)

Experience in any accounting software is necessary

Role Overview:

We are looking for a skilled Accounting and Finance Executive to join our team. This role is crucial for maintaining the financial health of our company by managing day-to-day financial operations, and providing financial insights to support business decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

- Report to finance director

- Manage daily accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.

- Prepare quotations and invoices, and payment reminders

- Prepare accurate monthly financial statements and other financial reports.

- Assist with budget preparation and manage financial planning and analysis.

- Perform analysis of financial data and provide forecasting support.

- Assist in managing company ledgers and working capital.

- Implement and monitor payment transactions and conduct reconciliation of bank statements.

- Assist in taxation issues and prepare tax returns, ensuring timely submission.

Ideal Candidate:

- Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

- Certification in ACCA or related

- At least 3-5 years of experience in a finance role, preferably in the architecture or design

My client is a prestigious law firm seeking a Accountant to manage the accounting services provided to their clients. Target market is within finance industry.

Responsibilities:

Bookkeeping:

• Liaising with clients on documents required for bookkeeping.
• Compilation and preparation of financial statements.
• Preparation of XBRL for annual return filing to ACRA.

Payroll:

• Preparation of monthly payslips.
• Submission of CPF.
• Submission of Make-up claim for NSMen.
• Preparation of IR8A.
• Submission of Occupational Employment Dataset (OED).

Corporate Tax:

• Estimated chargeable income filing.
• Preparation of corporate tax computation.
• Filing of corporate tax return to IRAS.

Personal Tax:

• Preparation of personal income tax computation.
• Filing of income tax return to IRAS.

MAS (Monetary Authority of Singapore):

• Preparation of annual declaration and filing to MAS.
• Attending MAS officer’s queries when necessary.

Others:

• Handling other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• At least Degree in Accountancy or equivalent
• Relevant experiences in managing outsource accounts
• Relevant experiences in compilation of financial statement is highly preferred.
• Strong command of both English and Chinese (spoken and written) to effectively communicate with Chinese-speaking stakeholders as well as English-speaking stakeholders

• Assist in formulating and implementing internal control procedure

Job Descriptions

• Oversee daily accounting function including AP, AR, GL and Bank Reconciliation.
• Generate and send out invoice to customer on time.
• Ensure invoice are in order and are bill correctly.
• Ensure timely and accurate closing of accounts and preparation of monthly financial reports and schedules.
• Perform payment forecast and monitor cashflow.
• Analysis of accounts.
• Liaising with Auditors.
• Any other assignment as assigned by Management.

Job Requirements

• Minimum of Diploma in accounting or equivalent
• At least 2 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in shipping industry
• Moderate Microsoft Excel skills i.e. use of excel functions, pivot table etc. is an advantage
• Highly analytical and comfortable with problem solving
• Detailed oriented and able to work under face-pace environment.
