You will be supporting the school admin and teacher resource support your task including

- Prepare teaching and learning support to teachers.

- assist to source and purchase materials for lab activities.

Job Requirement :

N’ / ‘O’ Level;

Possess a pleasant personality and ability to provide front desk services including phone enquiries; 

Able to use Microsoft Office software applications; 

Should preferably have similar working experience in a school environment

This advertisement is recruiting for 3 positions of Admin Support Officer.

If successfully selected, you will be seconded to MOE primary school located in Jalan Lempeng.

Contract Period: From 02 January 2025 to 31 December 2025.

Personnel to be deployed at the following hours:

Admin Support Officer

• Mondays to Fridays: 7:30am to 5:00pm, inclusive of one (1) hour lunch break
• Service not required on Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted public holidays

Teacher Resource Support

• Mondays to Fridays: 7:30am to 3.30pm, inclusive of one (1) hour lunch break
• Service not required on Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted public holidays

Operations Support Officer

• Mondays to Fridays: 6:30am to 4:00pm, inclusive of one (1) hour lunch break
• Service not required on Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted public holidays

The service required are set out as follows :

Admin Support Officer

• To attend to enquiries including walk-in, call-in and follow up with customers’ enquiries;
• To attend and keep a record of sick/injured students;
• To manage incoming and outgoing mails
• To assist in receiving and distribution of goods;
• To assist in filing, recording of lost-and-found items and perform other ad-hoc and simple administrative duties as and when necessary

Teacher Resource Support

• To provide teaching and learning support to teachers such as preparation of resources / materials for Science laboratory activities, enrichment programmes and competitions, etc;
• To assist to source and purchase materials for laboratory activities, practical tests and enrichment programme and to aid science teachers with the clearing up after laboratory lessons and when required;
• To assist to prepare forms and expenditures claims and keep copies of invoices and receipts;
• To label and keep records of existing and new Science teaching and learning materials and laboratory apparatus such as teachers’ desk copies, reference books, DVDs, lab apparatus and chemicals, etc;
• To maintain loan records of Science Resources;
• To pack and organize the resources in the Science Rooms. Ensure that the Science rooms are clean and conducive for lessons;
• To ensure laboratory equipment, materials and specimens are in good working conditions. Conduct stock-take at least twice a year. Assist to update the stock record and breakage record to initiate ordering of replacements, when necessary;
• To ensure proper disposal of waste materials such as sharp waste objects and chemicals;
• To ensure safety of students in the Science rooms. Record and report any incidents to Science HOD / LH. Maintain a laboratory incident log book;
• To check that safety devices in the laboratory, such as emergency eye-washers, showers and fire extinguishers are working;
• To perform any duties assigned by the Science HOD / Level Representative.

Qualifications, Skill & Experience

• ‘N’ / ‘O’ Level;
• Is able to speak English and Mandarin;
• Possess a pleasant personality and ability to provide front desk services including phone enquiries;
• Able to use Microsoft Office software applications;
• Should preferably have similar working experience in a school environment.

Contract Period: From 1 Jan 2025 to 31 Dec 2025.
