• Handling project claims for the IBC (eg monthly payment claims, computation of final BQ etc) for submission to the FMM for their processing.
• Ensure timely and complete submissions.
• Review quotation rates, and certify Contractors’ invoices to ensure that the invoices tally with the COP and/ or Purchase Orders where applicable.
• They shall conduct regular meetings with relevant parties for cost management discussion including Claim Valuation, closing of Final Account (FA) and etc.
• Support of maintenance and project works function
• Prepare cost estimate
• Prepare and report financial projection and budgetary control including monitoring of contract and provisional sums.
• Evaluate and carry out joint measurement with Contractors (e-PO, Final BQ, etc.)
• Check & verify quotations / "star rate" items / market sensing
• Administer term contractors ah-hoc works
• Responsible for performing administrative tasks such as data entry, document filing, and supporting departmental needs, attendance compilation and etc.
• Any other ad-hoc assignments assigned by the Management.

• Relevant Singapore Trade Diploma or equivalent recognized by Singapore Government

Job Responsibilities:

• Liaise with the construction team to prepare documents for Request for Quotation (RFQ) or Open Tender.
• Source potential tenderers/subcontractors and send out invitations for RFQs.
• Assist on management of materials and equipment at the construction site.
• Coordinate queries and clarifications between tenderers and construction team during RFQ stage.
• Coordinate post-tender interviews between tenderers, construction team, QS team and contracts team.
• Assist QS manager and contracts manager with quantity surveying matters relevant to Sub-Contract, Works Order and Purchase Order.
• Assist contracts team in administration of subcontracts.
• Handle payment requests received from subcontractors and suppliers.
• Responsible for quantity calculation of construction drawings, preliminary material research and market survey.
• Assist to evaluate and process vendor claims as needed.

Job Requirements:

• Min. Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field of studies.
• At least 3 years of experience, preferably in Quantity Surveying.
• At least 5 years of Site Experience
• Willing work at West area
• Exprerience in Marine Project is prefered
• Able to work under pressure and work under minimal supervision.

- Willing to work under the sun and overtime, weekend or holiday, shift switching and able to work under pressure and condition such as not afraid of dirty, not afraid of tired.

- Willing to work as a Construction worker, can do the timber, rebar job, able to work at project site, structural work.

- Able to operate of machine, can use construction machine, knowledge of construction safety. Experience in operating equipment like trench rammers, drills, pneumatic hammers. Knowledge of mixing and pouring construction material (concrete, sand, grout & etc...).

- At least 10 years of experience in construction industry. Manage site activities, vendors and sub-contractors，assist the Project Manager in the daily execution of work. Attend meeting, coordination, prepare works schedule & site supervision.

- Ensure installation is carried out as per construction drawings & ensure that works are executed within an acceptable standard of workmanship.

- Responsible for all aspects of site safety, proven experience as construction worker, reduce material wasting and cost saving.

- Knowledge of basic engineering and construction principles and methods, be bilingual, fluent in English & Chinese / Bangladesh.
