Our client is an investment firm and they are looking to hire Group Compliance Officer who will be working closely with the senior management team.

Responsibilities

• Formulate, implement and maintain group compliance policies and procedures (including but not limited to whistleblowing, outsourcing, gifts register, employee share trading register, AML/CFT, data protection, client onboarding, KYC etc.) in accordance with Singapore and Foreign regulations where applicable
• Draft and revise group’s business continuity management procedures and policies
• Conduct periodic review of our outsourcing arrangements and developed a checklist in place to meet MAS outsourcing requirements
• Conduct annual internal training covering AML/CFT, risk management, regulations and industry best practices for staff and new joiners
• Compute Risk-based Capital Adequacy Requirements, with inputs from the Finance team
• Ensure and carry out timely submission of regulatory filings including but not limited to Annual Audited Returns, Financial Resources Requirement, General Notifications, Licensing, Incident Reporting, Suspicious Transactions Reporting and Announcements.
• Undertake Common Reporting Standard (CRS) reporting in line with regulatory requirements
• Act as Anti Money Laundering Reporting Officer (AMLRO) for Fund(s) under management where required
• Conduct and review KYC and AML/CFT checks on the company’s clientele base
• Provide recommendations and assist the Management on internal and external compliance audit
• Formulate and implement audit processes by conducting periodic risk and compliance testing
• Stay up to date with the latest regulatory landscape in Singapore and provide timely updates and recommendations on any new policies/guidelines
• Assist with any other duties and projects assigned by the Senior Management

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy, Finance, Business or related discipline
• 8 to 10 years of relevant working experience in compliance roles in asset management or other financial services organisations.
• Sound knowledge of regulatory compliance requirements
• Attentive to details and with ability to interact and negotiate with key internal and external business stakeholders
• Strong written/oral communication, organizational and interpersonal skills
• Self-starter, resourceful, hands-on, and committed to deliver results
• An independently minded person who thrives in a team-based environment

• Handle general admin tasks (phone calls, office stationery, office maintenance, attendance checking on the time management system)
• Prepare and manage staff and project petty cash claim
• Provide clerical & administration support to project team
• Filing and maintain up-to-date file records to enable quick retrieval

Salary: S$3,000

Work Duration: Till 31 August 2024 (May extend till 30 September 2024 depending on project requirements)

Working Hours: 5 days work per week Monday – Sunday (Based on duty roster). Up to 44 hours per week.

Work Location: Clarke Quay/Novena (Work In Office)

Responsibilities:

• Conduct survey interviews via outbound calls (in the first 2 months) and field visits to collect timely and reliable data for national statistical information
• Reach out to the respondents to assist them to complete the survey
• Schedule interview appointments with respondents
• Compile, record, input survey returns and data accurately into the system
• Conduct verification to ensure completeness and accuracy of data collected
• Identify and resolve inconsistencies in responses by means of appropriate questioning and explanation
• Explain survey objectives to respondent
• Interpret survey questions to help respondents’ comprehension
• Respond to queries from respondents in a professional manner
• Ensure that the given KPI are being met based on the project timeline
• Provide status report to the supervisor

Job Requirements:

• Only Singaporean
• Communications Skills | Microsoft Excel | Travel in Singapore for household survey
• Selected candidates are required to complete the training course and passed the tests based on the given criteria
• Experience with Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) preferred
• Willing and able to persuade respondents to participate in surveys
• Excellent customer service skills - Focus on quality and customer service
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Excellent problem solving and negotiation skills
• Able to work in high pressure, stressful situations
