Responsibilities:

• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance of UPS and ACMV system etc.
• Identify and rectify issues to ensure optimal system performance.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot technical problems in UPS and ACMV systems etc.
• Perform on-site repairs and coordinate replacement of faulty components.
• Assist in the installation and commissioning of UPS etc.
• Provide technical support to clients and concerns promptly.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their specific requirements and recommend solutions.
• Documentation works.
• To perform duties which are not mentioned above from time to time, but are necessary for the growth and fulfilment of the Company’s requirement.

Requirements:

• Diploma / ITC Cert in Information Technology, Building Services, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
• Service-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Hands on experience

• Perform on-site field service activities to diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair equipment including deck cranes, grab systems, windlasses, hatch cover hydraulics, and davits.

REQUIREMENTS:

The successful candidate will have solid working experience with marine crane and deck machinery makers such as:

• MELCAL
• FUCHS
• BONFANTi
• ACEBI
• KISTLER

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

• Minimum 5 years' experience as an Electrical Officer on bulk carriers with deck cranes.
• Diploma or Degree in Electrica/Mechanical Engineering
• Skilled in troubleshooting and repairing marine cranes, windlasses, and hydraulic systems onboard.
• In-depth knowledge of PLC-controlled electro-hydraulic cranes and hydraulic machinery.
• Ability to read and understand electrical and hydraulic diagrams.
• Capable of independently diagnosing and resolving electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical issues.
• Experienced in supervising a team of mechanics and leading large repair projects onboard, during voyages, and in shipyards.
• Proficient in writing technical reports and communicating with owners' representatives.
• Previous experience with a leading deck crane manufacturer is a plus.
• Knowledge of variable frequency drives (VFD) is advantageous.
