JOB PURPOSE:

As the Head of Asia Pacific Distribution Centre (APDC), this position is a key member of the Asia Operations leadership team who plays a critical role in important strategic and management decisions relating to APDC operations. This position has full responsibility and accountability of overall performance for APDC with regards to quality, productivity, service level as well as budgetary control. What you will do:

As a Sales Engineer focused on selling service agreements, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and expanding our customer base. Your primary responsibility will be to engage with clients, understand their needs, and propose tailored service agreements that ensure the optimal performance and longevity of their equipment. What we look for:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proven experience in technical sales and/or hands-on experience, in either, HVAC, Fire, Security, or Building Management System.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, able to explain and present complex concepts in an easy-to-understand manner. Strong in negotiation and interpersonal abilities, chosen candidate will need to participate in and sometimes lead negotiations with vendors and customers.
• Ability to work collaboratively with technical teams and develop relationships with all levels of clients

At the Balestier branch, despite having a higher caseload for first opinion patients, we do occasionally get referral cases. Also, we see a variety of species which can range from dogs and cats to small furries and birds as well. On a monthly basis, we do organize clinical rounds to benefit both vets and nurses to continue brushing up our knowledge and to grow as a clinic to provide high standards of care.

On top of that, internal referral to our 24h branch is fairly straightforward, and you will be able to easily track the progress of your patient between the branch. Job Summary

Our client is looking for an Application Specialist who has strong domain knowledge in eFX to enhance and support the trading applications

Mandatory Skill-set

• Degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or Information System;
• Sound knowledge of Financial Markets products;
• At least 3-5 years of experience in FX trading systems;
• At least 3-5 years of experience in providing L2 / L3 support;
• Experience in trading analytics application will be an added advantage;
• Possess experience in UNIX Shell / Perl Scripting, RDMS, and SQL;
• Good analytical and problem solving skills;
• Effective communicator, with the ability to communicate with business users;
• Independent, proactive and demonstrate 'can-do' mentality;
• Ability to work under pressure and deliver excellent results;
• Ability to manage time and tasks efficiently.

Desired Skill-set

• ITIL Certified;
• Knowledge / experience with KDB+ time series database and analytics.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for providing L2 / L3 support for eFX and related trading applications;
• Fix bugs, troubleshoot and analyze on the root cause analysis;
• Collaborate closely with other internal technical / business teams to implement permanent solution;
• Follow escalation procedures during outages;
• Write SQL scripts and suggest automation to improve efficiency / effectiveness of support team;
• Adhere to change management requirements for application and system implementations.
