Responsibilities:

Location: This role will be based in Singapore and will support ASEAN, Hong Kong, Taiwan & Korea market.

The candidate must be proficient in Mandarin, to liaise with Mandarin speaking clients.

Work Experience

• 3 years of experience in desktop support, maintenance, and basic infrastructure/network troubleshooting.

• Knowledge of ITIL processes and practices.

• Basic understanding of infrastructure and network concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and network protocols.

• Strong technical knowledge of desktop operating systems, applications, and hardware.

This advertisement is for the recruiting position of AV and ICT Services.

If successfully selected, you will be seconded to a MOE Secondary School located in Ang Mo Kio St 42.

Contract Period: From 1 April 2024 to 31 March 2025.

Option to Extend: for a further period of 12 months

Personnel to be deployed at the following hours:

• Mondays to Thursdays: 7.00am to 4.30pm, inclusive of 1 hr lunch break
• Fridays: 7:00am to 4.00pm, inclusive of 1 hr lunch break
• Service not required on Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted public holidays

The Services required are set out as follows:

Audio-Visual and Information & Communication Technology

• Manage Audio Visual equipment during all major school events
• Set up, test and operate sound/light/Audio Visual systems during school events (e.g. meetings, assemblies, sports day, speech day)
• Maintain inventory and loan records of Audio Visual and Infocomm Technology equipment examples: Projectors, Visualizers, Swivel, cables, sound systems etc
• Provide consultation to Head of department/ ICT and Subject Head/ICT on the Audio Visual needs of the school.
• Manage Audio Visual equipment in classrooms and all other special rooms and monitor the equipment usage and carry out maintenance on yearly basis.
• Coordinate with vendors on repair services
• Manage the loan and condemnation of Audio Visual and Information Technology Equipments and accessories
• Collaborate and support teachers to effectively utilize the Digital signage and AV system for school-wide communication

Other duties:

• Train the CCA Information Technology Club students to operate the Public Address System equipment/service during assembly and school events
• Prepare CD players and batteries for school and national examinations (e.g. Listening Comprehension, Oral)
• Burning of CDs for examination and school events
• Assist in taking photographs and recording videos for school events, and ah-hoc activities • Convert video tapes programmes to CDs
• Assist in the troubleshooting of simple Audio Visual /Information & Communication Technology issues

The Personnel shall minimally have the following qualifications, experience and skills:

• Possessed a certificate in related field, or its equivalent.
• Candidate should also be an excellent team-player who is organized, meticulous and with the ability to multi-task. Strong communication and interpersonal skills is needed.
• Candidate with at least two years of relevant experiences within the past three years will be preferred.
