• Perform site acceptance tests, commissioning and start-up assistance for Low Voltage Variable Speed Drives
• Interface with customers on after sales service, understand and help customers define their needs
• Attend all maintenance related problems on site, trouble shoot and provide technical support to customers as well as resolve technical issues
• Work closely with sub-contractor in fulfilment of repair schedule
• Conduct training to enable users or customers optimizing the product performance
• Provide necessary inputs from field to engineering & factory for designing new products and enhancing existing products
• Validate and ensure full compliance in product application, controls and documentation
• Support product warranty claims and quality issue. Update customer complaints system & prepare monthly failure analysis report
• Project pursuit with engineering, sales teams and external consultants or contractors towards achieving project goals
• Collate and maintain project pursuit reports for management’s review and action plan

Job Requirements:-

• Degree/Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent with at least 5 years’ service experience in a similar industry
• Must possess hands-on working experience in technical servicing role and able to work independently at job site
• Sound technical knowledge in Low Voltage Variable Speed Drives. Knowledge in UPS & PLC is an added advantage
• Familiar with Communication Protocols Ethernet/IP, Modbus and Profibus, etc.
• Excellent communication & presentation skills
• Independent with good planning and time management skills

• Must be ready to support customer requirements with on call system
• Flexible and adaptable in site environment

The role will support new product / process introduction and / or commercial protein biologics processes.

Responsibilities:

• Compile and analyze process data using tools such as excel, minitab
• Verify data in technical reports and spreadsheets
• Consolidate and compare cell culture and purification process manufacturing practices for the purpose of facility fit and identification of area for optimization and alignment across manufacturing sites
• Participate in teams and collaborate cross-functionally with representatives from other functions and sites to support drug substance manufacturing process alignment
• Organize and conduct meetings. Actively creates, generates, and presents data/conclusions at internal and cross functional meetings
• Support authoring of technical protocols and reports
• Support small scale cell culture or purification studies while ensuring safe operation of PD activities in laboratory are followed

About You:

• University Degree in Science related discipline (e.g. chemical engineering, bioprocess engineering, biochemistry, or equivalent experiences)
• Possess basic understanding of biologics and chemical engineering principles.
• Independently motivated but also work well in team environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication
