We are looking for a highly motivated and talented individual with a passion in cancer genomics, biology, and radiation research to join the Tan Chin Tuan Laboratory of Optical Imaging, Photodynamic, and Proton Therapy - Precision Radiation Oncology Programme (PROP). The scope of the projects conducted under the premise of PROP includes 1) early- and late-phase clinical trials; 2) cancer genomics and data science; and 3) translational cancer and radiation biology. For this role, you will be mainly working with the Principal Investigator (PI) and the research teams under Theme 2. The projects involve studying cancer genomics of two main cancers, nasopharyngeal and prostate cancer, and the mechanistic pathways involved or identification of novel biomarkers for radioresistance. RESPONSIBILITIES

• To be accountable to the Head of Centre for the safety, hygiene, training, caring and general well-being of the trainees in the Training & Development Centre.
• To work collaboratively with the Assistant Training Officer to assist the Training Officers in the day to day operations of the Training and Development Centre.
• To assist in executing and implement Individual Training Programme (ITP) with the supervision of senior TOs.
• To assist in continuous assessment, training and evaluation of trainees holistic development.
• Collaboratively work with families in the implementation of trainees ITPs.
• Implement and monitor trainees security and safety procedures.
• To assist in recording information pertaining to individual trainees in Clients Log e.g. communications to/from caregivers and occurrences.
• To assist in recording significant behaviors for regulation in ABC Chart & Behaviour Incident Log.
• To report of any incident / critical trainees occurrences/events.
• To assist in Implementing routine checks on physiological and psychological well-being of trainees.
• To assist in conducting appropriate group activities.

The Facilities Management team is responsible for ensuring that our buildings and facilities support the empowerment and inclusion of our users. To this end, the team ensures that our building and facilities are accessible, safe and in working order, while also ensuring that the needs of our occupants are met.

The Assistant Manager will be responsible for ensuring smooth daily operations, maintenance and upkeep of the RC’s estate and facilities, through regular building and M&E inspections, compliance to authorities’ requirements and management of service subcontractors to effectively achieve the highest standard. The postholder will also ensure that all facilities maintenance issues and emergencies are attended to promptly and rectified with minimal inconvenience and disruption. The postholder will work closely with vendors/contractors such as security force, cafeteria and transport services and supervise the work of Facilities Support staff.

Critical Work Functions

Development and Implementation of safety policies and initiatives to ensure a Conducive and Safe Environment for Users

• Develop and implement preventive/corrective maintenance programs for M&E installations
• Develop and implement fire emergency plan, fire safety audit, maintenance plan for security surveillance systems and carpark facilities to achieve highest standard of safety and security
