• Examine the efficiency of the component and major operating equipment/system.
• Review the specification and as-built drawings of the mechanical and engineering (“M&E”) installations to understand the building characteristics.
• Interview facility personnel and selected building occupants to determine the base load requirements.
• Submit a report at the end of each year on all the audit observations, provide recommended solutions, and cost estimates of implementing such solutions.

• Assist PD/PM in supervising and coordinating all mechanical services and completing the program
• Work and coordinate closely with builders
• Work closely with the clients, consultants, and sub-contractors on technical matters
• Supervise and coordinate mechanical services work and work closely with other department staff to meet the project timelines
• Manage mechanical subcontractors’ submission of method statements, drawings, materials, samples, and work progress
• Ensure of quality of work is achieved and safety regulations are complied with
• Supports the day-to-day operations of the construction site, from site preparations to build-out.
• Support the management of the operations and associated risks based on established policies and procedures.
• Carry out regular inspections to ensure compliance with relevant regulatory and legislative requirements, processes, and procedures.
• Ensure safety compliance and quality control of materials/equipment on site.
• Liaise with stakeholders and carry out inspections with RE & RTO.

Job Requirements

• Recognised degree/diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• Knowledge of mechanical services and familiarity with the local code of practice
• Able to read and interpret plumbing, sanitary, ACMV layouts and schematics
• Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience in the Construction Industry
• Knowledge of plumbing and sanitary system installation is preferred

Duties:

• Provide technical support for routine and non-routine production activities.
• Develop best practices to improve production safety, reliability, and efficiency.
• Evaluate current production activities and implement continuous process improvements.
• Troubleshoot process and equipment problems to enhance operational reliability and efficiency.
• Measure plant performance, including power consumption index and process availability.

Requirements:
