Job Description
Responsibilities
- Lead the development and characterization of advanced Grind/Trim processes.
- Collaborate with international teams and vendors to create processes that align with integration requirements for future technology nodes.
- Oversee the transfer of Grind/Trim processes to high-volume manufacturing facilities.
- Continuously seek improvements to enhance manufacturability and address any process-related issues in partnership with the manufacturing team.
- Conduct in-depth research and development on Grind/Trim processes, including consumables and hardware evaluation.
- Experiment with new applications and solutions to expand process margins and ensure manufacturability of upcoming technology nodes.
- Identify and implement opportunities for process simplification and optimization.
- Design and implement advanced monitoring and control methods for processes.
- Lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects aimed at enhancing quality, yield, cost-efficiency, and productivity.
- Drive innovation through patent applications and technical publications.
- Maintain continuous engagement with global partners and suppliers to drive breakthrough solutions.
- Ensure compliance with the company's intellectual property policies.
- Communicate effectively with local and international teams.
The Successful Applicant
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Physics, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience with advanced Grind/Trim equipment.
- Strong understanding of Grind/Trim process mechanisms and their impact on integration and structure.
- Experience with data analysis systems (e.g., Y3) and Design of Experiments (DoE).
- Ability to analyze experimental data and derive actionable insights.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with teams across different locations.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Self-driven and adaptable to changing project needs.
- Capable of managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to travel and stay at development sites for extended periods (4-6 months) to support technology development.
