The Engineering Manager's responsibles are:

• Supervise a team of Project Managers / Engineers when new projects are introduced into the company
• Liaise with automation projects to improve production efficiency and reduce manual labour
• Corporate with Management and relevant department to evaluate project specification
• Analyse projects in terms of feasibility, risk and challenges
• Handle and supervise automation projects to improve productivity
• Handle and plan for Project expenses to ensure costs are within set budget

Essential Duties & Responsibilities: 

Mechanical Design and System Integration: Lead the mechanical design of UPW and

wastewater treatment systems, including the selection and sizing of equipment such as

process vessels, pumps, compressors, heat exchangers, dewatering devices, and other

mechanical components. Ensure seamless integration of these components into the overall

treatment system.

 Equipment Specification and Procurement: Prepare technical specifications for mechanical

equipment and work with vendors to procure the required components. Evaluate equipment

proposals and make recommendations based on technical and budgetary considerations.

 Project Planning and Execution: Collaborate with project managers and other engineering

disciplines to plan and execute UPW and wastewater treatment projects. Participate in project

meetings, design reviews, and progress assessments to ensure project objectives are met.

 Mechanical Engineering Analysis: Perform engineering calculations, simulations, and

modeling to assess the performance and reliability of mechanical systems. Address technical

challenges and propose solutions to optimize system performance.

 Quality Control and Compliance: Ensure that all mechanical designs and installations comply

with applicable codes, standards, and industry best practices. Conduct quality control reviews

to verify design integrity and safety.

 Cost Estimation and Budget Management: Collaborate with the project team to prepare cost

estimates for mechanical components and equipment. Identify cost-saving opportunities

where applicable.

Skills & Experiences required:

 Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.

 Significant experience (typically 10+ years) in mechanical engineering with expertise in water

and/or wastewater treatment systems.

 Proficiency in mechanical design software and engineering analysis tools.

 Strong understanding of various mechanical components and equipment used in water and/or

wastewater treatment systems.

 The ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities.

Responsible in overseeing the performance of outsourced maintenance service providers for mechanical and fire safety-related services and in the hospital to ensure installed systems' functionality as well as serviceability at all times. To audit and monitor the service standard rendered by specialist vendors and outsourced maintenance service providers. To support the Site Lead, Mechanical and Fire Safety Lead in capital nature replacements for installed mechanical systems and building improvement projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor degree / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Facilities Management or vequivalent.

Purpose of the Job:

Responsible for Engine MRO operations for Commercial Engines Business Unit

Key Job Accountabilities:

• Oversee all aspects of engine MRO operations for Commercial Engines Business Unit
• Product portfolio comprises of CFM56 and LEAP narrow body aircraft engines
• Drive operational excellence and be accountable for engine on-time delivery and contractual TAT, cost control, productivity hit-ratio metrics as well as quality and safety compliance
• Plan and control engine build plans as well as allocate manpower and resources to meet monthly engine delivery commitments as per customers’ expectations
• Manage engine revenue hours to meet productivity hit-ratio and profit targets
• Ensure compliance of quality standards and regulations laid down by airworthiness authorities and engine OEMs
• Promote a safety culture within the production team and coordinate all environment health and safety issues for the business unit to ensure a safe workplace
• Lead in customer focus teams to liaise with customers and coordinate with various functions such as Sales, Customer Support, Materials and Engineering to ensure customer satisfaction in all engine maintenance programs
• Provide leadership and guidance to a production team of Workshop Engineers, Service Engineers and Technicians

Required Experience and Qualifications:

• Knowledge of aviation authority regulations (CAAS, FAA, EASA, CAAC)
