YOUR ROLE:

The Lead/Senior DevOps Engineer will maintain and support an on-premises cloud infrastructure and apply DevOps practices and solutions. The person will also implement cloud-related and DevOps technologies such as AWS/Puppet/Chef/Elk/Azure/Openstack. We are looking for a talented and mature Sr. Manager to join our team in Singapore!

As a Sr. Manager in the engineering team (Developers & Functional Testers), you will be reporting to the Engineering Sr Director who is the CT&C ART Technical Business Owner. Your focus will be to oversee the day-to-day activities of a team roughly of size 6 to start with, who will report directly to you. The team would comprise of engineers ranging from fresh college graduates to senior experienced professionals with close to 4-6 or even more years of relevant experience.

The engineers design, build and enhance solutions meant for our customers in an agile, fast-paced environment. You will be working with colleagues across the company, who will help support and challenge you every day. Designing solutions, writing code, unit testing code, developing test cases, automating test cases and frequent check-ins for continuous integration is part of the DNA of this engineering team. You will see your team’s code going to production in just a few weeks and used by strategic accounts worldwide. We need a technically strong, compassionate leader to manage this team and guide them to the next level of success. Our team, as well as our group works under the principles of a common engineering model with both development and test automation expertise. Responsible for personal safety and the safety of those who are affected by your work. This includes but is not limited to:

As a Manager:

1. While adhering to all HSE requirements established for CBRE employees, supervisors and managers are additionally required to:

a. Provide sufficient distraction-free time for employees to complete all required HSE training & support the HSE training program implicitly,

b. Investigate and resolve (if possible) all reported unsafe conditions / acts and communicate results back to the affected stakeholders,

c. Support “stop work” authority when it is exercised in good faith,

d. Communicate any / all potential workplace hazards and workplace procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Continuously review, develop, and enhance the security framework, information security policies, processes, and guidelines to align with industry best practices.
• Monitor information security alerts, triage, and effectively mitigate and escalate issues as needed to maintain a secure environment.
• Identify security gaps through comprehensive threat risk assessments, proposing and implementing effective mitigating measures.
• Collaborate closely with the IT infrastructure team to evaluate, implement, and enhance various security components, including network perimeter security, endpoint security, SIEM, secured remote access, MFA, Identity Access Management, and Privileged Access Management.
• Stay informed about industrial IT security advancements and proactively introduce relevant security enhancements to the IT infrastructure and systems.

Requirements:

• Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Computer or Electronics Engineering, Information Technology, or related disciplines
• Minimum of 2 years of substantial and proven work experience in cybersecurity management and security governance.
• Proficiency and deep understanding in a minimum of four security tools, with specific expertise in CyberArk and Identity and Access Management (IAM).
• Possession of industry-recognized certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, or equivalent IT security certifications will be an added advantaged.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, essential for effective collaboration and conveying technical information.
