Overall Job Objectives
Oversee the construction activities, progress, planning, implementing, and monitoring of work schedules in accordance with the master and detailed work programme
Core Responsibilities
1. Managing the project to meet the time, cost and quality objectives.
2. Monitoring of overall site construction with the view of forecasting problems for their prevention.
3. Close monitoring of all potential cost and time variations to the contracts.
4. Recommending payments to contractors and consultants.
5. Provide regular performance status update to the management
6. Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel
7. Liaise closely with clients, architects, consultants, subcontractors through regular meetings to resolve administrative, design and contractual issues and updating of project progress report
8. Oversee quality control and safety matters on the site
9. Identify and comply with all applicable statutory / regulatory requirements related to project under his/her jurisdiction
10. Ensure in-progress inspection and joint inspection Monitor work progress to ensure project stays on schedule.
Job Specifications
1. Degree in Engineering or related disciplines
2. Proven experience as construction project manager
3. In-depth understanding of construction procedures and material and project management principles
4. Familiarity with quality and health and safety standards
5. Excellent organizational and time-management skills
6. Minimum 8 years of relevant experience.
Key deliverables
1. Comply with guidelines and regulations including permits, safety etc and deliver technical files and other technical documentation as required
2. Resolve any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may arise
