• Responsible for all electrical aspects and management of projects, including tendering, design, drawing, scheduling, purchasing, testing, packing, shipment and commissioning of power generation sets on site.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Coordinate all electrical interfacing of designated projects to meet specifications
• Instruct draughtsperson to prepare electrical drawings for tender replies and awarded projects according to customers' specifications
• Review returned drawings and modify as required for construction
• Coordinate with contractors on genset build up
• Provide specifications for control panels, generators and switchgears to vendors
• Liaise with vendors for quotations to procure/fabricate
• Coordinate with Parts Dept on order for CAT parts
• Assist with final technical inspections and testing of equipment
• Prepare packing list and coordinate with HPL on packing, delivery and shipment
• Perform on site commissioning as and when required
• Prepare project costing and report to the Project Manager
• Attend/Conduct engineering and project meetings both in Singapore and overseas (when required)
• Perform calibration of electrical items
• Assist in review and update of department procedures and manuals
• Fulfill other adhoc duties as assigned by Management

Person Specifications

• Possess a degree in Electrical/Power Engineering or 2 years of related experience in Power Generation Engineering and/or Project Management
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
• Knowledge in electrical aspects of power systems and control panels

Responsibilities:

 - Perform calibration procedures on a wide range of measurement and testing equipment according to established standards and protocols.

 - Troubleshoot and diagnose calibration issues, recommending and implementing appropriate corrective actions as needed.

 - Maintain calibration records and documentation accurately, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and quality management systems.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization of calibration procedures.

- Provide technical support and guidance to internal stakeholders and customers regarding calibration procedures and equipment usage.

 - Participate in internal audits and inspections to ensure adherence to quality standards and regulatory requirements.

 - Assist in the documentation for technical tools and procedures.

Requirements:

 - Diploma in Engineering, Electronics, Process Control & Instrumentation, or any relevant studies.

- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.

- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.

 - Proficient in computer and software usage, including familiarity with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities:

· Responsible for day to day project supervision for new construction/conversion/repairs of vessels

· Ensure work assigned is carried out effectively and productively in order to meet customer specifications and requirements

· Deploy effective utilization of manpower and material resources in the department.

· Liaising with other departments on daily production schedule

· Assist in Planning of department manpower projections

· Assess and plan weekly manpower deployment and allocation of repair vessel to Sub-contractor

· Obtain and monitor drawings/ technical information

· Attend assigned project progress meeting/HAT meeting

· Assess staff work performance under his charge as required

· Identify training needs for his men

· Monitor job progress and man hours of the assigned project

· Study and evaluate the work processes and methods of the department and explore new ideas to improve work quality and productivity

· Liaise with owners’ representative and/or class surveyor during witness/inspection

· Highlight areas of need to other trades to clear their work (e.g. temporary lightings, staging, closing of access, etc.)

· Conduct RA assessment/ BBS observation/ hazard reporting

Requirements:

· Degree/Diploma in Electrical Engineering

· 2 -3 years relevant experience in Electrical operations in marine industry

· Knowledge of class requirements will be advantageous

· Knowledge of ship’s electrical system, control system and their classification requirements

· Able to interpret technical/electrical drawings and specification

· Possess man-management experience for workers and subcontractors

· Able to work on weekends and public holidays due to project’s requirements

· Able to work under outdoor conditions, including grease and dust
