General Overview

This position is part of the site Mechanical team that provides technical/maintenance support to the Operation and Project teams in LNG Terminal. • Responsible in preparing documentation including daily report, monthly progress report, progressive payments/claims, method of statement and work procedures to project manager.
• Responsible in overseeing drawings and plans and make sure they are updated to the clients and subcontractors
• Maintains project schedule by monitoring project progress, coordinating activities, and resolving problems and prepares project status reports.
• Controls project plan by reviewing designs, specifications, drawings/plans, scheduling changes, and recommending actions.
• Assist the project managers or directors in project co-ordinations with related consultants and quantity surveyors.
• Coordinate and work closely by enforcing safety procedures, rules and regulations with safety personnel to ensure all government and safety regulations are complied.
• Conduct weekly or monthly meeting with sub-contractors to update the progress of work.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

General Function/ Job Duties:

Corporate Operations management

1. Drive the activities for strategic growth opportunities internationally.

2. Evaluate Operations development opportunities with all entities/sites for strategic plans alignment with corporate strategy to increase manufacturing/service and products offerings that are complimentary to the status of company.

3. Responsible for the operations objective and profit plans.

4. Plan the performance in all of the areas: Manufacturing/production, Engineering, Quality departments.

5. Drive a dynamic production force with excellent tactical production objective to develop the delivery for Operations results.

Corporate Engineering / Production

6. Formulate and provide directives for Engineering / Production Department in meeting organization’s goals.

7. Accountable with the assigned factory sections in terms of New Model Development.

8. Analyse section profit / loss of projects and providing cost control and cost effectiveness strategy.

9. Involvement with evaluation, recommendation and also as a decision maker for newly factory, machineries, tooling that relate to the machining setup and processes.

10. Ensure effective control of machine up / down time and well scheduled & optimized machine performance and capacity.

11. Manpower balancing and deployment strategy with manpower skill set.

12. Continuous improvement program to ensure productivity, cost and quality effectiveness.

13. Provide application support query on process time estimation and special / engineering needs on sales quotation.

14. Formulate and provide system in document control of engineering / technical / ECN drawings / forms and operational support programs.

15. Formulate, identify and conduct management / training workshop to initiate / facilitate staff in aligning organizations missions and objectives and actions plans.

16. Review / prepare, administer and implement Process Manufacturing Plan and other Operational procedures in accordance to the technical specifications, customer's surveillance requirements, and good manufacturing / engineering practices, and enforce the same on Operations in their execution.

17. Ensure the proper implementation of machine maintenance and control of tooling.

18. Ensure and coordinate the implementation of risk assessment and risk control of medical devices.

19. To maintain good house-keeping - 6S and ensure all Engineering practices are in accordance to A & One Precision best practices and other practices which the Company may introduce from time to time.

Responsibilities:

• Assist Project Manager with project functions, including project management, site management, and risk control to achieve project goals.
• Support Project Manager in planning and coordinating construction works according to the master and detailed work programs.
• Guide junior Engineers in daily work execution.
• Prepare and submit project documents such as schedules, method statements, design plans, risk assessments, and reports.
• Supervise construction to ensure compliance with contract specifications, drawings, quality standards, and ESH practices.
• Coordinate and liaise with clients, authorities, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers on all project matters.
• Facilitate site inspections, submit technical reports, and maintain records. Assist in verifying progress payments and contractor claims.
• Attend regular meetings with clients, consultants, and contractors to monitor project progress.
• Establish and maintain a document control system for design drawings and project documents.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering recognized by the Professional Engineer Board.
• At least 3 years of working experience in construction and infrastructure industry (LTA, Roadwaorks, MRT Projects).
