Job Description:
- Be part of the Singapore ALM & Treasury Software and Application manager team, providing a wellmanaged, efficient, pro-active IT Applications Production Support (APS) and maintenance to the ALM & Treasury, BP2S, Global Banking and Wealth Management Front offices.
Team responsibilities and scope :
- Application manager for ALM & Treasury, BP2S, WM, GB Business and related functions on Kondor+ Ecosystem application and infrastructure (position management system handling twelve different cash, FX and derivatives asset classes). The scope includes the management of applications handling daily rates and Profit and Loss generation chain.
- Incident and Problem Management
- Monitor the results and quality of the different software solutions and projects implemented in the organization:
- Manage/Own P1/P2 incidents and problems end to end.
- Communicates with internal users and management over incidents and post-mortems.
- Diagnoses issues: establishes their root case.
- Initiates task force over critical incidents.
- Liaises with upstream and downstream systems support teams as appropriate.
Direct Responsibilities
- Assist troubleshoot and resolving incidents and problems on supported application.
- Monitor and maintain system health and performance.
- Develop, maintain and support Disaster Recovery plans on the weekend (bi-annual exercise).
- Participate in improving our monitoring and alerting tools for the support team to be more proactive on incident resolution and prevention.
Contributing Responsibilities
- Monitor group mailbox, assigning/escalating appropriately.
- Basic of majority of the application the team supports with the ability to be L1 support when necessary.
- Adherence to Audit, Compliance and Risk guidelines.
- Knowledge Management and Documentation
- Documents support procedures on wiki.
- Owns team knowledge base on wiki for all in-scope applications.
- Provides support to end-users on how to use the application.
- Ensures Follow-the-Sun and regional support teams are continuously trained as required.
- Communicates a daily handover document to Follow-The-Sun support teams, where appropriate.
Job Requirements:
- Strong SQL and scripting languages (code analysis, debugging, monitoring development)
- Strong UNIX command lines knowledge (Linux Red Hat used)
- Strong Time and Task management skills in a high multitasking environments
- Exposure to Sybase ASE or similar DB technology, Unix OS, Windows 2008/2012 servers
- Exposure to IT Production environment and standard methodologies (Change and Incident Management, Disaster Recovery process, ITIL and Agile processes)
- Exposure to Excel data manipulation (VLOOKUP, PivotTable, Array, Sumproduct, etc…) and scripting (VBA)
- Exposure to multi-cultural work environment.
- Knowledge of Financial Products such as Risk and Pricing of Derivatives and Cash products
- Knowledge of standard methodology: CMMI, ITIL and Agile
- Preferably advance development and scripting knowledge
- Preferably experience in developing or providing support on Kondor+ applications
- Preferably experience with Business Object for reports developments
