The Hollandse Club is looking for an experienced Finance Manager, preferably with a proven track record in a hospitality or club management environment. This role will be responsible for the full spectrum of finance matters including financial reporting, statutory reporting and management reporting, supporting the business in budgeting / forecasting as well as liaising with external authorities (including tax agents, auditors and business partners). The Finance Manager will be leading the Finance Team and reports directly to the General Manager (GM).

The Club is currently unable to support any work passes, therefore this position is only open to local residents who do not require one.

The Finance Manager:

Accountancy & Audit

• Analyzes costing, pricing, variable contributions, sales results, and actual performance compared to the strategy.
• Is responsible for financial statements, audit support, cash flow for the Club.
• Is responsible for coordinating internal closures of monthly/ quarterly book closure process, P&L & BS trend/ variance analysis, account, and bank reconciliations etc.
• Is responsible for ensuring good financial discipline across the Club – contracts implemented, purchase orders received, works completed prior to payment made.
• Is responsible for ensuring optimal cash flow into the Club – through the implementation of GIROs and the management of Club’s debt.
• Manages the preparation of the Club’s budget and forecast.
• Is responsible for overall exposure of GST, secretarial compliances, and other taxation regime in Singapore.
• Is responsible and closely liaises with external auditors to ensure timely closures of annual, statutory and review audits.

Management Reporting

Job Duties:

Primary / Main (90%)

· Co-ordinate and liaise with respective subsidiaries regarding group conso matters.

· Ensure subsidiaries’ conso package submit for conso on timely basis.

· Prepare month-end, quarter-end, year-end closing and consolidation financial statements of the Group in accordance with IFRS and Group requirements.

· Prepare statement of group cash flow, necessary supporting schedules and announcement on quarter-end and year-end closing for SGX announcement.

· Ensure closing of group consolidation are on timely basis and information furnished are accurate and in concise manner.

· Board file preparation on quarterly basis.

· Assist in preparation of annual report, annual general meeting (AGM) and extraordinary general meeting (EGM).

· Assist in preparation of Sustainability Report.

· Assist in simplifying monthly conso package.

· Prepare consolidation of group annual budget and forecast.

· Monthly preparation of board pack materials and conduct of the monthly board meetings.

· Review GST reports for monthly or quarterly filing to IRAS.

· Oversee yearly stock take exercise.

· Review year-end closing and audit schedules, including the liaison with auditors and tax agents.

· Coordinate and liaise on the yearly financial budget and forecast.

· Review of daily cash flow.

· Perform a detailed GPM analysis on a project basis.

Requirement:

· Degree in Accountancy or ACCA or its equivalent.

Provide support with respect to:

· Administering cash collection processes (e.g. cash-over-counter; donation boxes; pledge bags and street collections), including ensuring that the Company’s KYC and AML processes are complied with (where applicable)

· Ensuring donor information confidentiality and ensuring compliance with all donor requests with respect to specific use of funds (to the extent approved by the CEO and Board)

· Monitoring and following up on donation pledges or commitments, and collections from fundraising activities (including by way of maintaining a catalogue of fundraising MOUs)

· Monitoring compliance with Collection of donor information Maintaining a register of all contracts, agreements and MOUs entered into by the Company, and monitoring all obligations owed by the Company or owing to the Company, including monitoring and following up on donation pledges or commitments, and collections from fundraising activities

General Matters

· Support the CEO and colleagues, when called upon, to ensure success of the Company’s events and activities

Qualification & Experience
