JOB SUMMARY

• To assist RMs based in Singapore of the GSAC Team in identifying, negotiating and closing, Credit facilities to PvB Clients and Prospects, while ensuring the further development of the Credit product offering. This position is created to promote and accelerate the international expansion in Asia Pacific region. The Investments and M&A team is instrumental in originating, analysing, and executing M&A opportunities and strategic analysis. • Strong knowledge of valuation (FCFF and FCFE), financing, accounting, and strategic analysis.

The role holder is responsible, as an individual contributor, as part of the Bank’s Global Credit Insurance Group desk (“GCIG”), for negotiating, structuring, placing and managing private market credit and political risk insurance on CIB credit assets for the Asia region.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategy
Continuously work with insurers on both BAU business and initiatives aimed at deepening and broadening market appetite to better match the Bank’s evolving book and general business requirements. Initiatives include:
• Deepening and broadening insurance market appetite for the low RoRWA/high RWA business;
• Deepening and broadening insurance market appetite for Shipping Finance risks, to assist the strategic growth of the business;

This role will support MAS in the preparations for the repeal of the regulatory regime for the registered fund management companies (RFMCs). With the repeal, over 200 RFMCs will have to apply for a licence in order to continue operating. RFMCs that meet criteria will be approved to become licensed fund management companies.

• Assist in monitoring the status of licence applications by RFMCs.
