As a UX Designer in our team, you will drive design excellence and ensure the highest quality of user experience across our digital products. Your expertise will shape design solutions that meet user needs and business objectives, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement in design practices.
Responsibilities:
• Drive the end-to-end product design process — from discovering the problems and proposing design solutions to delivering the final design and supporting the product launch.
• Conduct workshops and co-creation sessions with business users and stakeholders, delve
into business operations, and identify opportunities where technology can enhance service
journeys. Connect the dots between business challenges, user needs, and technological
advancements.
• Use qualitative and quantitative research methods including usability testing, A/B testing,
user surveys, and in-depth interviews to gather insights that inform design solutions. Use
this data to refine and enhance user experience continually.
• Rapidly create and iterate on ideas using user flows and mock-ups. Present design solutions backed by research insights to continually enhance user interactions.
• Able to translate usability test findings into actionable recommendations and simplify complex systems
• Establish design guidelines to ensure consistent design quality across products. Regularly
review and update these standards.
• Work closely with the team to maintain and enhance our design system. Oversee all aspects of its usage, including guidelines, updates, and application across products.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with cross-functional product teams. Foster an
environment of collaboration and mutual respect, and encourage a culture of feedback and
continuous improvement within the design team and beyond.
What we are looking for:
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in the UX industry
• Strong experience working collaboratively in agile cross-functional teams and skilled in
stakeholder management with excellent organisational, presentation, and listening skills.
• Meticulous attention to details and good problem solving skills
• Open minded, curious and explorative
• Knowledge in design principles, colour theory and typography
• Knowledge and experience in running user research, ideation workshops and usability tests
• Degree in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Design, Psychology, Computer Science,
Business, or related disciplines.
• Demonstrated experience working on at least 2 different products creating great user-
centric solutions and aesthetic interfaces
• Expertise with popular design tools and software such as Figma, Miro, Adobe Creative Suite e.g. Photoshop and/or Illustrator, Notion, and Excel.
• Good digital illustration skills will be an added advantage
• Previous experience leading a UX design team and/or experience working in the government sector, with legacy systems or complex domains will be considered an advantage.
