Responsibilities:

• Claim Verification and Processing: Review, verify, and process promotional claims submitted by partners, ensuring they meet the established terms, conditions, and timelines of promotional agreements.
• Documentation Review: Ensure all required documentation (e.g., receipts, purchase invoices) is submitted and correct, flagging any inconsistencies or missing information.
• Partner Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for partners, providing clear updates on claim status, resolving any issues, and educating partners on claim submission requirements.
• Collaboration with Internal Teams: Work closely with finance, marketing, and sales departments to ensure promotions are executed as intended and that claim processing follows contractual terms.
• Issue Resolution: Investigate and resolve discrepancies or disputes in partnership claims, escalating issues when necessary to the Claims and Promotions Manager.
• Record Keeping and Audits: Maintain detailed and accurate records of all partner claims, ensuring they are easily accessible for audits and reporting.

Requirements:

• Strong excel skills.
• Power BI and excel Macro skills will be strong plus

What is it like being a Personal Financial Consultant at OCBC?

As a Personal Financial Consultant, you will be based at one of our island-wide Branches and will provide comprehensive, one-stop financial advisory services to customers through the active promotion and cross-selling of our full range of wealth management products that include insurance, loans, unit trusts and structured deposits. Job responsibilities

• You are expected to achieve targets set which involves calling of policyholders on a daily basis to initiate recovery;
• Engage and communicate with our policyholders to gather information and assist them in claim submission to third party;
• Use sound communication skills to successfully persuade and convince policyholders to proceed with the claims recovery process;
• Demonstrate and ensure standard operating procedures are met when handling outbound and inbound calls with policyholders and financial consultants;
• Ensuring proper tracking and documentation of call activities and outcomes;
• Takes accountability in considering business and regulatory compliance risks and takes appropriate steps to mitigate the risks.
• Maintains awareness of industry trends on regulatory compliance, emerging threats and technologies in order to understand the risk and better safeguard the company.
• Highlights any potential concerns /risks and proactively shares best risk management practices.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree, insurance qualifications or equivalent experience preferably 1 year of insurance claims recovery and/or claim operations experience;
• Prior experience in customer service will be an added advantage

• Good interpersonal, analytical, and negotiation skills required

This position will be based in Singapore and will be part of the Finance Hub team that reports into the Finance Supervisor/Manager.

The candidate will be primarily responsible for the day-to-day management of all payment cycle activities in a timely and efficient manner. The role is to complete payments that include tracking invoices, process, verifying and reconciling trade vendors and intercompany invoices. In addition, the candidate needs to closely track and monitor the PO issued by the client and promptly share to the media team.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Person in charge will be responsible for tracking, and monitoring campaigns against Purchase Order (PO) received.

• To upload Purchase Order (PO) received from the client and share with the media team
• To generate client identifier code for each campaign before the campaign starts

2. Person in charge of the timely tracking and monitoring of trade vendor invoices.

• Correctly sort the trade vendor invoices received for distribution to the correct team
• Ensure timely distribution of trade vendor invoices to media team for validation and return to the finance
• Liaise with internal stakeholders for any missing trade vendor invoices which had been distributed for validation
• Tracking of trade vendor invoices to avoid delay in payment processing
• Person in charge of the timely process of payments.
• Completes payments and controls expenses by receiving, processing, verifying and reconciling vendor invoices
• Process payment through electronic transfer/cheque
• Perform invoice and general ledger data entry
• Tracking of trade vendor invoices to avoid delay in payment processing
• Timely responds to all vendor and intercompany enquiries regarding finance
• Ad Hoc Projects (Operations / Systems / Internal Controls).
• From time to time, there may be additional projects/tasks that may be assigned to you based on the company’s requirements

Requirements:

• Possess minimum Diploma or higher qualification in Accounting/ Finance or equivalent.
• At least 1-2 years of relevant working experience
• Sound and updated understanding of accounting principles and local statutory requirements
• Self motivated, result oriented and able to work both independently as well as part of a team hub team, local markets and media team
• Able to creatively plan and execute effectively while collaborating closely with the digital team
• Strong working knowledge of MS Office products and familiarity with ERP systems
