Your new role
1. Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, ensuring compliance with local accounting standards in Singapore, as well as China.
2. Manage general ledger accounting and ensure proper reconciliation of all accounts.
3. Assist in internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations.
4. Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial analysis to support strategic decisions.
5. Identify process improvement opportunities and implement best practices in accounting procedures.
6. Work closely with other departments (including operations, legal, and compliance) to ensure financial coordination and support business plans.
7. Familiar with financial internal control processes and have experience in system construction and optimization. Assist managers to identify areas for process optimization and conduct quality reviews to ensure compliance with established policies and procedures.
8. Understand the design of the group's legal structure, especially within China and Singapore, and manage consolidated financial statements. Coordinate with compliance and tax departments to review the legal structure, providing recommendations from a financial perspective relevant to both jurisdictions.
9. Be familiar with the regulatory reporting requirements of licensed entities in the payment industry in both China and Singapore. Carry out financial-related regulatory reporting work in accordance with local regulatory requirements to ensure data quality and compliance.
What you'll need to succeed
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in accounting, finance, economics, business administration, or a related field, with relevant coursework or certification in China and Singapore accounting standards and practices.
- Minimum of 5 years of finance-related work experience. Experience must include finance roles within both China and Singapore, with a strong understanding of the respective financial regulations, tax laws, and industry standards.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a detailed understanding of the financial environments in both China and Singapore.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to clearly explain complex financial information.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment. Demonstratedability to manage multiple priorities
