GENERAL DESCRIPTION
The candidate will be the Sr. Test Manager and responsible for test strategy & planning, automation, NFR and testing deliveries and ownership for the Core Banking projects.
KEY FEATURES OF THE POSITION
Functional / Technical
· Expertise in Banking (“Private Banking”) domain
· Experience and know-how of Temenos T24 Core Banking
· Excellent technical skills with ability to review and analyse Business requirements and system specifications
· Expertise in Test strategy, planning, test data and environment planning
· Working experience in Agile methodologies such as Scrum / Kanban / SAFE
· Excellent People and Team skills - Work collaboratively with various team to achieve goals
· Good know how or working experience in Automation
· Status reporting and able to drive the defect management across multiple teams
· Ability to proactively raise issues, risks and also recommend optimal solutions
· Drive UAT planning, coordination and execution with Business
· Work with the BA and Dev teams to drive even the upstream software quality (Requirements, Development Solutions)
· Drive and review test strategy, test planning, test coverage, overall project planning, solution design, Regression & Automation, UAT strategy and challenge status quo when necessary in the best interest of the overall project and the organization
Client / Stakeholder Management (internal & external)
· Stake holder management – working closely with senior stakeholders within IT and Business to drive testing deliveries, best practices, innovation and automation
· Work with IT risk to actively drive the risk culture within and across teams
· Ensure awareness, involvement and support from the key stakeholders and participants by building strong project teams and maintaining robust communication on the project status throughout its life cycle
Regulatory Responsibilities &/OR Risk Management
· Demonstration of appropriate values and behaviours including but not limited to standards on honesty and integrity, due care and diligence, fair dealing (treating customers fairly), management of conflicts of interest, competence and continuous development, adequate risk management, and compliance with applicable laws and regulations
· Take responsibility for ensuring that risks and issues are identified and managed closely and drive all stakeholders to deliver on time and to the required quality standards
SKILLS REQUIREMENTS OF THE POSITION
Professional and Technical
Professional
- Minimum 15+ years of experience in driving strategy, planning, execution, automation and UAT
- Minimum 8 years of financial domain experience including in Temenos T24 Core banking
- Expertise in working on Agile methodologies such as Scrum / Kanban / SAFE
- Excellent know how in SQL and expertise in database testing
- Experience in Automation and driving Automation strategy (TOSCA, Selenium, other industry standard tools)
Technical
Must Have:
· Understanding / Experience of Automation tools (TOSCA, Selenium) to drive Automation in projects
· Relational Database concepts, SQL, joins, stored procedures etc.
· Agile planning tools – JIRA, Confluence
