Overview

Our company is currently on the lookout for an experienced Admin & Finance Executive to provide financial administrative support to our companies. You will be working closely with and reporting directly to the Regional Financial Controller.

Main Responsibilities

Finance

• Handle partial set/ or full sets of accounting (AP/ AR/ GL)
• Responsible for daily bookkeeping, accounts receivables & payables functions and other related duties assigned.
• Performing administrative and clerical tasks, such as data entry, preparing payment vouchers, generating reports and statements, filing paperwork, and liaising with clients on payment matters.
• Maintain general journal entries
• Liaise with external accountants, auditors, tax agents, corporate secretary, bankers etc.
• Perform any other accounting/finance duties and responsibilities as and when necessary.

Administration (Ad-hoc)

• Ensure and maintain proper documentation of all finance, accounting and administration activities.
• Acting as the first point of contact when dealing with staff, suppliers and clients in terms of correspondence.
• Written communication including but not limited to drafting of documents or letters as and when necessary.
• Maintaining re-order level of office supplies, pantry, stationery, purchase of products and equipment, office maintenance etc.
• To provide administrative support to Management and ensure smooth operations of the Company.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of accounting working experience
• Familiarity in EXACT & Cargowise One, Microsoft Outlook, TEAMS, Excel or related ERP.
• Polytechnic diploma or bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, Business Administration, Accounting or related field.

Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional customer service by welcoming walk-in customers, addressing their inquiries, promoting products, and assisting with order fulfillment.
• Restock and organize merchandise following the company's Standard Operating Procedures.
• Conduct checks for out-of-stock items, product quality, and expiration dates.
• Ensure accurate price tagging on all products.
• Handle cashiering tasks, including processing customer exchanges, refunds, and promoting the customer loyalty program during checkout.
• Create and maintain attractive retail displays.
• Perform general housekeeping to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards.
• Assist with retail outlet opening and closing procedures, including participating in the cashier balancing process.
• Take part in regular stock-taking activities.

Requirements:

• Open only to Singaporeans.
• Retail experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
• Minimum educational qualification: GCE 'O' or 'N' level.
• Strong team player who can also work independently.
• Positive attitude with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in English reading and comprehension.
• IT literacy is a plus.
• Ability to lift and carry items weighing 10kg or more.
• Work locations include Bedok, Pasir Ris, Downtown East, and Holland Village.

5 days work week (with one weekend off if roster allows) and it depends on the outlet, Holland V only has one shift, 10-7 meanwhile the rest have morning/afternoon/full shirt.
