2 . Job Description
The Restaurant Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring a high standard of customer service, quality, and efficiency. This role involves managing staff, coordinating daily operations, maintaining inventory, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, and working towards achieving financial goals.
3. Roles & Responsibilities
1) Create good working environment and develop subordinates by identifying areas that needs training and action to support it
2) Orientate and train employees so as to ensure that each individual has a complete understanding of the company’s policies by using the operations training manual
3) Manage an efficient team of kitchen and service staff by taking an active interest in their welfare and development
4) Ensure daily opening and closing duties in the outlet are properly executed
5) Manage, direct and co-ordinate all operation-related activities in a proficient and pleasant method
6) Maintain high level of customer service as per QSC standards
Ensure overall store image is maintained and the brand is well represented at all times
7) Monitor opening and closing duties of the outlet
Communicate daily and act as liaison between operations staff and management
8) Ensure that POS system is operational and accurate at all times
Provide co-ordination and services for both kitchen and service
9) NITEC/Diploma in F&B Management or equivalent
At least 2 year(s) of similar working experiences
10) Proficiency in MS Office application
11) Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
12) Positive attitude with ability to influence and lead a team
13) Able to work on weekends
4. Requirements
1) At least 4 - 5 years of experience as a Restaurant Manager preferably in a Japanese restaurant
2) Possess Hygiene certificate
3) Prior experience managing around 20 staffs and above
4) Willing to work shifts, weekends and public holidays
5) Proficient in Japanese language will be advantageous in order to liaise with Japanese management & customers
