We are looking for a Communications & Digital Marketing Executive to assist in the development, execution and optimisation of Sikh Welfare Council’s (SIWEC) communication platforms to drive our community engagement and fundraising efforts. The Communications & Digital Marketing Executive will work with our Fundraising committee (FRC) and create content according to our Fundraising calendar to secure financial support from diverse sources including individual donors, corporate partners and foundations to support the sustenance and growth of SIWEC’s programs.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Communications & Digital Marketing Executive

Fundraising

• Assist the FRC to develop and implement comprehensive fundraising strategies based on timeline of major events and identify new strategies to diversify revenue streams to meet fundraising goals.
• Work with the admin team to identify and cultivate relationships with current donors and other potential funding sources, including creating content as required to effectively communicate SIWEC’s mission, programs and impact to secure the financial support for our programs.
• Plan and execute fundraising campaigns and initiatives with the FRC, including online campaigns, direct mail appeals and special events to engage donors.
• Create content to showcase the impact of SIWEC’s programs and showcase beneficiaries as part of regular communications and special fundraising campaigns.

Donor & Volunteer Engagement

• Assist in the planning and execution of communicating strategies to internal stakeholders (key volunteers including SIWEC management committee members and sub-committees, donors, Sikh institutions, and community partners (including government agencies from the social service and health sector.)
• Cultivate meaningful relationships with volunteers and donors (individuals, corporate partners and foundations) and maintain regular engagement with them through various channels including emails, letters and special events.
• Provide regular updates to donors on the impact of their contributions, showcasing tangible outcomes, success stories and testimonials.
• Create content to showcase volunteering with SIWEC’s programs and showcase volunteers to engage with potential new volunteers.
• Maintain, build and update mailing and donor and volunteer databases.

Event Coordination

• Assist in planning, organizing and executing events to increase SIWEC’s profile and engagement with stakeholders, primarily for fundraising and recruitment of volunteers for our programs.
• To plan and manage publicity and marketing of SIWEC’s community engagement channels and activities (e.g. SIWEC’s fund-raising initiatives, outreach events at various community touchpoints, online or in-person forums, workshops, and webinars/seminars, as well as the biennial SIWEC Appreciation Day.
• Assist the Manager in organising and managing visits to SIWEC by community partners, donors, government agency representatives, and members of the media.

Corporate Communications

• Develop creative concepts for content marketing, social media channels and SIWEC’s official website and prepare online newsletters, promotional emails and organise their distribution through various channels.
• Plan and manage SIWEC’s presence on social media (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube)
• Measure performance of digital marketing efforts using a variety of analytics tools (including, but not limited to, Mail Chimp, Google Analytics, Web Trends and more).
• To plan and manage SIWEC’s public communications including regular website updates, content creation of engaging stories for social media channels and drafting content for internal publications (e.g. SIWEC annual reports and quarterly e-Newsletter).
• Nurture relationships with mainstream and online media and develop narratives to promote and profile SIWEC’s social impact through long-standing and ongoing initiatives, such as Theek Thak (Are You Ok?) mental health programme.
• Maintain regular communication with our regular stakeholders (donors, beneficiaries, volunteers, others etc) to keep them updated about the latest programmes, initiatives etc on a regular basis.
• Assist in the website revamp initiative, specifically focussing on our 30-year SIWEC journey.
• Strategize how we can increase brand awareness of SIWEC via our regular communication channels (social media, emails, leaflets, newsletters, etc.)

Required Skills

1. Minimum diploma or equivalent qualification.

2. Preferably with 1-2 years of relevant experience.

3. Exceptional writing, speaking and story-telling skills.

4. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, ability to communicate in a clear and persuasive manner.

5. Proven ability to be proactive, responsive, detail-oriented, demonstrate good judgment, with the ability to deliver work of high quality and accuracy within specified timelines.

6. Relevant experience in marketing communications capacity in a social service setting will be an advantage.

7. Familiarity with basic design functions in Adode, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Canva.

8. Experience with digital analytics tools (Google Analytics, Facebook Business Suite) and Content Management System (e.g. WordPress) is essential.

About the Role

This position is part of a dynamic team, reporting to the Head of Ad Products.

The Digital Development Manager will be responsible for planning and executing audience-centric initiatives across digital touch-points through direct and programmatic channels to support digital revenue growth and deliver audience-solutions that excite our clients.

Your success means being able to increase the adoption of SPH Media’s audience-solutions among our advertisers. This will also require a basic understanding of audience / contextual targeting, audience cohorts, brand safety, IVT, programmatic advertising, ad-servers/ DSPs and digital campaign reporting

Key Responsibilities

• Identify opportunities to create new audience segments that will increase adoption of first-party audience-solutions among our advertisers. Define the segmentation logic for the same.
• Build digital first-party audience segments on Data Management Platform (DMP) partner and Contextual Targeting platforms in adherence to planned taxonomy, brand safety, and ensure their operational availability on all associated platforms (e.g. Point of sale, Ad server, CDP etc).
• Closely monitor the scaling, inventory, and performance of all audiences and update periodically both to reporting manager and to stakeholders from Ad Operations and Ad Sales teams.
• Report the usage of first-party audiences on a monthly basis to the Ad Products team, to Billing and Finance team for invoicing purposes, and to different Product teams for audience revenue recognition.
• Create, maintain and automate reports on audience trends, inventory and performance across digital campaigns for sharing with our advertisers as well as internal stakeholders. Maintain digital performance benchmarks for targeted digital campaigns across different industries.
• Be the custodian of the brand-safety guidelines for digital ad campaigns to ensure that our advertisers’ ads do not appear in a negative context. Align with the Sales team to create and maintain brand safety filters for ads from different industries and products, and work closely with the Ad Operations team to ensure correct usage of filters. Review and update the filters as required.
• Support sales in audience built and recommendation for audience campaign
• Stakeholder management: Work with existing and new partners, vendors to support the Ad Products team’s pilot assignments. Work an ongoing basis with internal Ad Operations, Ad Sales, Data, Tech, Product and Editorial teams.
• Develop new audience related product(s) or packages.

Job Requirements

• 2+ years hands-on experience in digital ad-operations or in digital media agency or publisher operations.
• Understanding of digital marketing concepts such as ad formats, page traffic, inventory, impressions, CPM, CPC, CPA, re-targeting, look-alike audiences, events tags
• Familiar with ad servers and digital platforms (One or more of these : GAM360, GA360, DSPs, SSPs or DMPs)
• Knowledge of digital campaign management workflows
• Preferably exposure to Tableau, Datorama reporting, or other reporting and analytics tools.

A key member of the NUS College’s Communications team, this role will champion the digital marketing efforts of NUSC across key digital platforms, including monitoring trends and insights, to elevate our online brand presence and drive the College’s brand impact, experience and marketing campaign effectiveness.

Channel Management & Growth

• Lead and manage key digital properties such as NUSC website, employee portal and social media channels that support the College’s marketing campaign needs, brand building imperatives and achieve positive user experiences.
• Strengthen and drive the smooth operations of the NUSC website and employee portal, working closely with internal resources (IT), external vendors and content owners, to achieve high operational readiness in support of key campaign launches.

• Collaborate with campaign leads and content owners to design and execute digital marketing plans and campaigns in Singapore and Asia, with a focus on brand awareness and admissions lead generation/conversions (SEO/SEM, paid advertising, email marketing, social media marketing etc).
• Leverage analytics tools like Google Analytics and equivalents to monitor campaign performance and generate actionable insights for reporting/calibration.
• Manage relationships with external agencies and vendors to ensure effective execution of marketing campaigns.

Best Practices & Training

• Stay up-to-date with the latest digital marketing trends, tools and best practices in the higher education and youth segments in Singapore and the region.
• Act as the digital champion and impart user training and best practices within internal units across the College.
• Work with other administrative teams in NUS College on cross-functional and shared duties.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 to 8 years’ experience in a digital communications and marketing role in large enterprises or agency environment with working knowledge of Singapore and Asian markets.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or related, blended with skills in IT/project management.
• Digital skills must include:Launch/management of corporate websites, employee portals and local/regional digital marketing strategies.
  Working knowledge and familiarity with content management systems (ie WordPress, Sharepoint or similar).
  Working knowledge of Martech and how it can be effectively developed and deployed to meet the College’s needs.
  Working knowledge of social media landscape in Singapore and Asia.

Position Overview:

Robotic & Digital Lead will play a pivotal role in the introduction and advancement of Robotic and Digital Solutions in the Orthopaedic Business of Johnson & Johnson MedTech across the Southeast Asia (SEA) region.
