What an I&D Manager does at Visa:

• Lead and implement components of the I&D strategy in partnership with the regional I&D Director.
• Inspire and motivate colleagues across the AP region to be active advocates and champions for I&D.
• Collaborate with talent acquisition, talent management, people business partnering, and regional leadership to build inclusive practices across the organization and employee lifecycle.
• Identify and address systemic biases in existing policies, processes, and systems, working with the wider People team.
• Partner with Visa University to ensure I&D training and content are fit for purpose and facilitate sessions where appropriate.
• Promote I&D learning and development across Visa in AP.
• Support the growth and development of regional employee networks.
• Manage the annual ERG planning process and monthly connects with ERG leads.
• Bridge gaps between ERG activities and business initiatives.
• Consult and advise on ERG campaigns and initiatives to ensure alignment with the I&D and business strategy.
• Provide strategic advice to functions to build diverse and inclusive teams.
• Leverage data and metrics to inform our approach, communicate priorities, and measure progress.
• Manage vendor contracts and payments process for I&D.

Job Description: Restaurant Manager

Position Overview:As a Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant. Your primary goal will be to ensure excellent customer service, manage staff, maintain quality standards, and drive profitability. You will work closely with the management team to uphold the restaurant's reputation and achieve its business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Staff Management:Recruit, train, and supervise restaurant staff, including servers.
   Schedule shifts and assign duties to ensure optimal staffing levels and smooth operations.
   Provide ongoing coaching and performance feedback to employees, fostering a positive work environment.
   
2. Customer Service:Ensure that guests receive exceptional service by maintaining high standards of hospitality and addressing any issues or complaints promptly.
   Monitor customer satisfaction levels and implement strategies to enhance the dining experience.
   
3. Operations Management:Oversee day-to-day activities, including food preparation, inventory management, and cleanliness.
   Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations, food quality standards, and sanitation procedures.
   Manage restaurant finances, including budgeting, cost control, and revenue optimization.
   
4. Quality Control:Uphold quality standards for food, beverages, and service, ensuring consistency and customer satisfaction.
   Conduct regular inspections to assess cleanliness, organization, and adherence to operational procedures.
   
5. Marketing and Promotion:Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement promotional strategies to attract customers and drive sales.
   Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth and differentiation.
   
6. Administrative Tasks:Maintain accurate records of inventory, sales, and expenses.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager or similar role in the hospitality industry.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Solid understanding of restaurant operations, including food and beverage management, staffing, and customer service.
• Proficiency in basic accounting principles and restaurant management software.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Understand operations flow for both front and back of house
• Able to execute SOPs in outlets and ensure implementations are being carried out accordingly
• Able to explain and recommend food, wine and sake selections according to guest requests and requirements, such as preparation methods, ingredients used, portion size and presentation, etc
• Ensure that strict hygiene and cleanliness standards are constantly and consistently upheld and adhered to in the restaurant, as well as excellent upkeep of personal grooming
• Schedule and manage manpower arrangements of outlets under supervision to achieve operation effectiveness
• Motivate, develop and manage team members to achieve individual, team and business objectives
• Coach and provide feedback to staff on quality of service and food rendered
• Be service oriented, uphold quality, sincere, intimate customer relations service
• Work closely with Executive Chef in achieving P&L goals
• Liaise with various departments where necessary
• Any other duties as assigned by Management

Qualification

• At least 3 years of F&B work experience in similar capacity
• Willingness to work rotating shift hours, weekends and public holidays
• Possess great service attitude

• Proficient in MS Office
